Block Paved Drive in Crawshaw Booth
Here is a Block Paved Drive in Crawshaw Booth we recently finished for a very happy customer.
Firstly we widened the driveway by digging back part of the garden and rebuilding a new stone wall as there was some unused space next to the drive and we needed to use this to greatly increase the area and size of the drive. The stone wall held back the next garden and creates a lovely focal point for the drive to stand out against.
Then we re-turfed the front lawn on the opposite side of the wall to give that part of the garden a great finish.
For the actual block paving itself we installed Marshalls teguala block paving on the driveway, to give a really nice look with a different shade of edging to finish it off neatly.
Drainage Under the Lawn and Drive
This garden had a problem with its drainage and water pouring across the garden and sitting on top of the drive or seeping into the garage.
To combat this we installed galvanised water drainage channels around the front of the house to stop water gathering then to direct the surface water into the drains and prevent it going in the garage.
You can see a step by step picture diary of the job below.
